Charles A. Bassford Jr.
Attorney Charles A. Bassford is a retired partner who concentrated his career in the areas of real estate, corporate, commercial, wills, trust and estate law. Cases he has handled on appeal include Regents of Univ. of Minn. v. Medical Inc., 405 NW 2d 474 (1987) and Theros v. Phillips, 256 NW 2d 852 (1977).
James T. Hanvik
James T. Hanvik concentrates his practice in the areas of business and commercial disputes, construction law, contract drafting and negotiations, debtor/creditor law, divorce and family law, personal injury cases and motor vehicle claims. Although he is primarily an attorney-advocate in litigated matters, he has also had the distinguished honor of serving as court-appointed mediator or arbitrator in court-ordered settlement proceedings and practices alternative dispute resolution involving mediation and arbitration. He is a lawyer that other lawyers in need of representation have selected to represent them in court proceedings.
Vicki J. Lunde
Bankruptcy attorney Vicki J. Lunde focuses her practice principally on the representation of businesses and consumers in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy proceedings. She has been licensed to practice law in Minnesota since 2002, in Illinois since 2005, and in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota and the 8th Circuit Court of Appeals since 2009. Ms. Lunde is a strong supporter of pro bono and other volunteer efforts within the community. She represents indigent clients in bankruptcy cases through Volunteer Lawyers Network (VLN) and Southern Minnesota Regional Legal Services (SMRLS).
In Loving Memory of David Aaron Pyles (1945–2011)
David A. Pyles founded the law office of Bassford, Hanvik & Pyles, P.A. along with partners Charles A. Bassford, Jr. and James T. Hanvik in 1990. The partners formed the firm with one goal in mind: to advocate for victims of accident and injury throughout Minnesota. During his tenure at the firm, David maintained an exclusive focus in the area of personal injury law which produced millions of dollars in recovery for victims of accident and injury. On July 3, 2011, David succumbed to a six-year battle with lymphoma. He is survived by his wife and two children. As an attorney-advocate and a friend, David is missed by all who knew him.
